Obituary: Mark O'Donnell by The Stage

Four men created the hit musical Hairspray - one of them was Mark O'Donnell, who wrote the book with Thomas Meehan. While the show was still enjoying a six-year run on Broadway, the West End production opened at the Shaftesbury Theatre, London, in 2007.
