Gore Vidal's Life and Work Will Be Celebrated at Broadway's Schoenfeld Theatre Aug. 23 by Michael Gioia

A public celebration will be held on Broadway to honor the literary and theatrical career of the late Gore Vidal, who died July 31 at age 86. The event will be held noon to 1 PM Aug. 23 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, current home of the Tony-nominated revival of Gore Vidal's The Best Man.
