Spike Lee Eyeing Porgy and Bess Film and "Do the Right Thing" Musical by Adam Hetrick

Academy Award-nominated director Spike Lee is in talks to film a new version of Porgy and Bess and to bring a stage musical adaptation of his 1989 Brooklyn-set film "Do the Right Thing" to Broadway.
