Tony Award winner Ben Vereen ("Jesus Christ Superstar," "Pippin") readied for a two-week run of his one-man concert "Steppin' Out with Ben Vereen," at 54 Below in the Broadway theatre district. At a recent open rehearsal, Vereen previewed three of the songs from the show, and spoke about the song and dance men who inspired him.
