Capitol Hill Block Party announces new visual arts component
The Capitol Hill Block Party, which kicks off July 20, has announced a new visual arts component featuring commissioned work by 23 artists, including Allison Kudla, Brent Watanabe and Anne Blackburn. Named the All-Brow Visual Arts exhibit, the show consists of indoor and outdoor pieces at various sites on the festival grounds and is curated by Laurie Kearney, founder of Capitol Hill's Ghost Gallery.
