Nicky Silver's The Lyons Will End Its Broadway Roar on July 1
The Lyons, Nicky Silver's dysfunctional-family comedy starring Tony Award winners Linda Lavin and Dick Latessa, will close July 1 at Broadway's Cort Theatre, the producers announced June 14. The darkly comic play, for which Lavin was nominated for a 2012 Tony as Best Actress, marked the Broadway debut of critically acclaimed downtown playwright Silver. It premiered Off-Broadway in fall 2011.
