Letter: Theatres can profit from making themselves accessible to disabled people
Your article about the lack of access in some mainstream theatre (page 5, May 31) seems to have pressured the producers of A Long Day's Journey into Night to consider accessible performances. I'm bemused though. Why does Kim Poster think that she needs advice from SOLT about providing a captioned show rather than an audio-described one? If you have limited funds, don't try and solve that by playing off one disability…
