CW Picks Up Mamie Gummer Medical Drama Emily Owens, M.D.
CW has ordered Emily Owens, M.D., the medical drama starring Mamie Gummer, to series, according to EW.com. Previously titled First Cut, the Jennie Snyder Urman project's pilot was directed by Bharat Nalluri and co-stars Justin Hartley (Smallville). No start date has been announced for the series, which will air Tuesday nights.
