ArtsBeat: Bret Michaels Settles Lawsuit After Injury at Tony Awards by Dave Itzkoff

Bret Michaels, the frontman of the rock band Poison, had sued the producers of the Tony Awards after he was injured by a descending backdrop during the 2009 awards broadcast, and CBS, which showed the accident in what became a widely circulated Internet clip.
