Ripley Town Hall, North Yorks: Kate Bramley's new comedy for her Badapple Theatre company is a warm-hearted tale set in the 1960s. Having lived through the 60s is not necessary for complete enjoyment, but it helps - or you can take your mum along. The plot demands a massive suspension of disbelief, but that is part of the fun.
