Obituary: Ian Abercrombie by The Stage

After starting his career as a tap dancer, Ian Abercrombie moved to America at the age of 17 and eventually became an instantly recognisable face in the sitcom Seinfeld (1994-98) and the comedy drama series Desperate Housewives (2006).
