Collector Sues Gagogosian Gallery for Selling Him a Painting Partially Owned by Met
A British art collector, Robert Wylde, filed suit Thursday in federal court in Manhattan against the Gagosian Gallery, contending that the gallery sold him a Mark Tansey painting without telling him that the Metropolitan Museum of Art already owned 31 percent of it.
