Open Circle Theater closes

On Sept. 30, Seattle's Open Circle Theater disbanded. "Choosing to dissolve one of Seattle's longest existing fringe theater companies was difficult, but the organization's financial standing was beyond repair," according to a news release sent out by the theater. Open Circle's first season was in 1992, and the theater had a home on Second Avenue.
