Pace to Bring Performances to Lower Manhattan by Randy Kennedy

Responding to what it sees as a cultural need in Lower Manhattan as plans for a proposed performing arts center at the World Trade Center site remain up in the air, Pace University announced this week that it will begin a new annual series of performing and visual-arts programs at its 650-seat Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts on Spruce Street near City Hall.
