A lot to love at Paper Mill BY PETER FILICHIA

James Brennan's production is substantially stronger than the flawed, unsuccessful 1994 Broadway revival (excluding one tasteless joke involving a bedpan). This is the version that should have be sent to New York, starting with the glorious sets (by Michael Anania and Chuck Keating) of a handsome perfume shop and swank restaurant.
