Title role drags down 'Mame' By Gina Perille

OGUNQUIT, Maine -- Of all the glitches that beset opening night for the Ogunquit Playhouse production of "Auntie Mame," the one that won't be solved by simple repetition is Charles Busch's portrayal of the title character. Scenery and props will eventually be where they are supposed to be, but Busch's characterization will not.
