'Sweeney Todd' Still Stings by MICHAEL KUCHWARA, AP Drama Critic

The New York City Opera revival, which opened Tuesday, expertly mixes performers from the worlds of opera and musical theater. The result is an enormously satisfying, well-sung production, goulish and gleeful in equal measure thanks to some canny casting of the two leads.
