This 'Fame' should be left in obscurity BY MICHAEL SOMMERS

First a terrific 1980 movie and later a pretty good TV series about kids at the High School for the Performing Arts, "Fame" is now a third-rate off-Broadway musical titled "Fame on 42nd Street."
