A Grammy Awards Tribute for Aretha Franklin by Larry Rohter

Ms. Franklin, who has won 18 Grammy awards, was hospitalized in Detroit late last year, underwent surgery for an undisclosed ailment and canceled several months' worth of scheduled performances.
