What if Picasso had encountered the Nazis? by Douglas J. Keating
The new play that the Philadelphia Theatre Company is producing is called A Picasso, as in a painting by Pablo Picasso, but it might just as well be titled Picasso. The great 20th-century artist is one of two characters in the piece by Jeffrey Hatcher, but Picasso dominates it as much as he and his spirit did the artistic landscape of the 20th century.
