Riccardo Muti to Have Surgery by Daniel J. Wakin

Riccardo Muti, the Italian maestro and music director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, will have surgery to repair "multiple facial and jaw fractures" suffered when he collapsed on the podium during a rehearsal on Thursday.
