NBC acquired tv series Smash about the out of town tryout of a Broadway musical
Smash is about a fictional musical within a new TV show. Smash does a good job of evoking Broadway's bitchiness and betrayals, triumphs and heartbreaks. You can tell that sooner or later the main characters are all going to be hopping in and out of one another's beds.
