Disney's Lion King and Mary Poppins Will Go Dark Aug. 27-28 as Hurricane Roars in NYC by Kenneth Jones

Where is Mary Poppins' umbrella when you need it? Owing to Hurricane Irene, performances of the Broadway productions of Mary Poppins and The Lion King will not be presented on Saturday and Sunday Aug. 27-28, Disney Theatrical Productions announced Aug. 26.
