Textbooks call Paul Claudel's 1912 play "The Tidings Brought to Mary" -- now being sensitively revived by the Storm Theatre and Blackfriars Repertory Theatre -- a mystery. Really, though, it's an allegory of the contrasts between flesh and spirit.
