Hawthornucopia: Gable B & Gable F - Reviewed by A.J. MELL

It would be nice to report that this festival of short plays examining Nathaniel Hawthorne from perspectives both faithful and fanciful will inspire audiences to rush to the nearest bookstore for a copy of "The Portable Hawthorne," but on the evidence of the two programs I saw, the outlook is dodgy. There is at least one gem in the bunch: David Lally's "Little Edie and the Marble Faun."
