Widows

Ariel Dorfman's 1983 novel from which the play now at the 59E59 theater complex is part of the Chilean-born author's trilogy of social protest works. It's a tragic fable about disappeared men whose mothers, wives and children were unable to claim and bury their bodies for some measure of closure.
