'Mermaid' goes under the Broadway sea by Jacques le Sourd
"Mermaid" does not repeat Disney's well-chronicled theater magic of "The Lion King," or the more recent "Mary Poppins." But what it succeeds in doing quite well is to shift continually between its two worlds, one under water and the other above.
