Tap dancer Mary Theresa Archbold was auditioning for <cite>Anything Goes</cite> a couple of years ago when her prosthetic arm came detached and thunked to the floor. She didn't land the part, but she did get one more anecdote for <cite>Jazz Hand: Tales of a One-Armed Woman</cite>, one of 190 shows that are part of the 11th annual New York International Fringe Festival, which begins tomorrow.
