The Imaginary Invalid ****1/2 by Barry Gordin

By Paulanne Simmons June 17, 2025: Moliere's The Imaginary Invalid (Le Malade Imaginaire) premiered in 1673, but its themes of narcissism, greed and the failures of healthcare, are just as relevant today as they were in the 17th century. Jeffrey Hatcher's adaptation, presented by Red Bull Theater and  directed by Jesse Berger, makes several changes but remains faithful to the spirit of Moliere's work.
