By: Paulanne Simmons January 28, 2025: There's nothing particularly new about a play based on correspondence between two friends (one can't help thinking of A. R. Gurney's Love Letters}. But Michael Griffo's warm, evocative language and the excellent acting in this two-hander make Pen Pals, currently playing at Theatre at St. Clement's, truly special.
