The Orchestra Now: Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun
The fabulous TON (The Orchestra Now), associated with the master's program at Bard, recently gave the final performance of its 2023-2024 season. The orchestra started with Debussy's "Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun" (beautiful!), followed with the US Premiere of Dani Howard's "Trombone Concerto," and ended with Rachmanioff's "Symphonic Dances" (excellent).
