Harvey Evans, cherished and essential Broadway character actor, dies at age 80 by Joseph Wilkinson

Harvey Evans, the Broadway actor whose talents got him into several classic plays in below-the-marquee roles, died Friday. Evans died at the Actors Fund Home in Englewood, N.J., his friend Lawrence Leritz said.
