October 13,2020: The Panic Defense, written and directed by Sam Affoumado, is a docudrama spotlighting the inequalities of the criminal justice system as it pertains to the staggering rise in hate crimes perpetrated against members of the LGBTQ+ community. The play was inspired by and loosely based on four characters who were victims of actual, hate-filled, murders.
