More Connecticut theaters move to membership models by Christopher Arnott

Several Connecticut theaters (including TheaterWorks and the Long Wharf) are moving away from traditional season subscription offers and embracing new "membership" plans, where loyal theatergoers can pay a monthly or annual fee for a regular diet of plays and concerts. Most of those shows, for now, will be online, but as theaters reopen the plans will allow for seats at live shows.
