Hartford Symphony Orchestra violinist survives COVID, plays to fundraise for classical community
Hartford Symphony violinist and Avon resident Gary Capozziello was debilitated by COVID and came out of it wanting to help his fellow musicians who livelihoods had been affected by the crisis. He arranged a Facebook fundraiser which has him posting videos of himself playing solo violin pieces, which he hopes will raise $10,000 for an artist releif fund to be managed by the Greater Hartford Arts Council.
