Rebel with a cause: An unexpected female hero rises to power in 'Devi,' at ACT by Tantri Wija

"Devi," the newest dance-drama production from Seattle-based South Asian arts group Pratidhwani, in collaboration with ACT Theatre, is based on an 1884 Bengali novel about a downtrodden woman who rises up against British rule.
