A Cuban-Yiddish opera, based on epic poem, in Montclair by Natalie Pompilio | For Nj Advance Media

'Hatuey: Memory of Fire" is based on an epic poem about a Cuban foik hero that was written more than 80 years ago by a Ukranian Jew living in Havana. It will be presented in three languages, with supertitles, at Montclair State University' as part of its Peak Performances series.
