'Red Bike' by Simpatico Theatre: Dreary outlook, tedious play

'Red Bike," through June 24 by the Simpatico Theatre, sees the world through the eyes of an 11-year-old. But the play works too much through narration, as opposed to real dramatic dialogue, and it uncritically adopts the naive pessimism of its main character, resulting in a repetitious, boring production.
