'Lay Me Down Softly' at Irish Heritage Theatre: Atmosphere but no clarity, no feel, no boxing

Irish Heritage Theatre begins its season with "Lay Me Down Softly" by Irish playwright Billy Roche. It involves an Irish family, the boxing world, and a traveling carnival. So there's atmosphere galore - but the meaning and purpose of the show are nowhere to be found.
