Was Shakespeare's "The Tempest" a Musical? New Evidence Says Perchance by Ann Binlot

William Shakespeare may have been at work on a musical hundreds of years before any had graced the stages of New York's Broadway or London's West End. Jonathan Holmes, artistic director at the Jericho House theater company and William Shakespeare scholar, revealed findings that suggest that the English playwright's last masterpiece, "The Tempest," was originally intended to be a musical.
