The Akron Civic Theatre is working to raise the $1.6 million needed to renovate the Grand Lobby and its entry arcade. The money will come from multiple sources, including proceeds from the annual gala, "Spirits of the Civic Gala 2018, Live from Akron, It's Saturday Night." Tickets are still available for the SNL-themed event, starting at 6:30-11 p.m. Saturday April 7.
