In Invictus Theatre Company's inaugural production of Othello, Iago is played as a woman. Her strong performance and a largely solid ensemble are not enough, however, to save a weak lead and some very obvious production value missteps. Overall, this Othello is an ambitious production that sometimes meets its lofty goals and other times, does not. Slightly Recommended. (review by Lauren Whalen)
