The Pittsburgh New Works Festival, the annual showcase of 18 new one-act plays, gets underway with free staged readings of six works this Sunday and  Aug. 28 at Carnegie Stage, 27 W. Main St., Carnegie. Productions of a dozen more one-act plays will be presented throughout September. Here's the schedule:
