Globe's 'Macbeth' a potent battle zone by James Hebert

Toil and trouble don't simply bubble in the Old Globe's bracing new staging of "Macbeth": They detonate like a succession of grenades. Even the words of the play's famous witches come out damaged and disfigured, like shrapnel spat up from ravaged, blasted lungs.
