For the 12th annual version of its signature Theatre Festival in Black & White, Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre mixes and matches its one-act plays with a difference. Rather than grouping them in two alternating programs, there are now three pairs of plays staged at different times, each pair lasting an hour or less. It's designed to serve passing foot traffic during the Arts Festival. Better yet, it's all free.
