Review: A 50th anniversary tour worthy of Twyla Tharp's talents
Featuring two new Tharp works -- the knockout 'Preludes and Fugues' set to Bach, and 'Yowzie,' a dance with rakish comic-book appeal, set to Fats Waller and Jelly Roll Morton -- Friday's opening performance was a study in contrasts. The program repeats through Sunday at Zellerbach Hall.
