Benedict Cumberbatch in Hamlet: Bloodiest backstabbing found among critics as newspapers break traditional 'First Night' embargo

Betrayal is a central theme in Hamlet, as every Shakespeare student knows, but on Wednesday night the bloodiest backstabbing was taking place among the theatre critics gathered to witness Benedict Cumberbatch's debut as the Danish prince in a much-anticipated production at London's Barbican.
