Ed Harris and Amy Madigan Will Star in New Group Season; Cynthia Nixon Returns to Direct World Premi
Off-Broadway's The New Group has announced three productions for its 2015-16 season. Stage and screen star Cynthia Nixon ("Sex and the City") will return to direct, following her recent directorial debut with the acclaimed Rasheeda Speaking. The season will also feature Sam Shepard's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Buried Child, starring Oscar nominees Ed Harris and Amy Madigan.
