Tina Packer, founding artistic director of Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts and former Associate Artist with the Royal Shakespeare Company in England, discusses the women of Shakespeare's plays in Women of Will: Following the Feminine in Shakespeare's Plays. As Shakespeare developed as an artist, so did the women in his plays. They became equals with men in status, and sexual passion.
