Tony Winner Edward Herrmann, Star of "Gilmore Girls," Dies at 71 by Adam Hetrick

Edward Herrmann, a Tony and Emmy Award-winning actor perhaps best-known for his role as Richard Gilmore on the CW television series "The Gilmore Girls," died Dec. 31 at the age of 71.
